SouthernPine.com, the website for the Southern Pine Council, walked away with a "Best Overall" award in Hanley Wood Business Media's first annual Vanguard Best of the Web Awards. The awards, conducted by BUILDING PRODUCTS magazine and ebuild, honor the best manufacturer Web sites in the B-to-B construction market, based on the design, originality, and overall usability of the site for construction professionals.

SouthernPine.com, which was designed and is hosted by BuildingOnline, also received "Best Section for Professionals" and "Best Product Information" accolades and an honorable mention for "Best Navigation" in the competition.

Manufacturers submitted a comprehensive application to enter the Vanguard Awards. A select panel of judges made up of a builder, a remodeler and an architect reviewed the hundreds of entries.

The winners will be showcased in the September/October issue of BUILDING PRODUCTS and will be featured on ebuild in August.
