The Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) Executive Committee has approved a credit of $155,000 for its lumber manufacturer members, equating to 51% of each member’s 2025 dues.
This marks the second consecutive year a credit has been approved, underscoring SFPA’s continued dedication to supporting its members and fostering industry growth.
“This significant credit underscores SFPA’s commitment to prudent financial management and enhancing value for our members,” said Eric Gee, SFPA’s executive director. “This dedication has enabled SFPA, for only the fourth time in its 119-year history, to return excess revenue to our lumber manufacturer members.”
Leveraging flexibility in its capital reserves, SFPA will return excess revenue to its members through a dues credit applied to monthly reported Southern Pine lumber shipments.
“As we move into 2025, we remain dedicated to building on the success of our lumber promotion initiatives, expanding international market opportunities, and continuing the legacy of the Forest Products Machinery and Equipment Exposition,” said Pino Pucci, chairman of SFPA’s board of directors.
