The Southern Forest Products Association is proud to welcome Silver Light Resources Ltd. as an associate member.
Silver Light Resources was established in 2015 with a focus on wholesaling lumber and logs to South Asian communities.
In the early days, Silver Light partnered with Royal Pacific to develop trade routes from Georgia to South Asian countries, especially China. Both companies grew at a double-digit pace in the following years and slowly transitioned from wholesaling lumber to log trading, then again to constructing a miniature-scale sawmill from the ground up.
Owner Yiwei Chen has more than a decade of experience in trading Southern Yellow Pine lumber and logs.
By becoming an associate member of the Southern Forest Products Association, Chen looks forward to continuing his passion for advertising the benefits of using Southern Yellow Pine lumber and logs in other parts of the world.
