The Southern Forest Products Association is proud to welcome Laidig Systems as an associate member.
Since 1961, Laidig has provided reliable and cost-effective solutions for bulk material silo storage and automated reclaim systems. Its reputation for rugged, dependable equipment and commitment to excellence in engineering, manufacturing, and customer service has made the company an industry world leader.
Each system is custom-designed and fabricated at the company’s facilities located in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Laidig specializes in screw-type bottom reclaimers designed to start up and operate under a full material load. The auger rotates on its own axis and pulls material toward the center of the silo floor and onto the next stage in the customer’s process. Its silo reclaim systems enable customers to store hard-to-handle materials in large quantities for long periods, while eliminating issues such as rat-holing and bridging and automating the unloading process.
With an extensive install base in both the Southeast and Northwest US as well as Canada, Laidig has deep experience in the forest products industry. Its systems are commonly used to handle a range of materials such as dust, chips, hogged fuel, and bark for combustion, production, and load-out processes.
